On this 74th Independence day,We the students of  NITIE Mumbai and Marketing Interest Group from the ideology of #Mandi sir  as a part of  #Vocal_for_Local Campaign, promoting Mangalagiri Sarees

Mangalagiri sarees are produced by performing handicraft weaving in Mangalagiri, a town in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. These sarees use Nizam design, which makes it more attractive. These have been a part of town for more than five decades.

Among the dozens of different handwoven silks made in India, there is none more elegant than mangalagiri. This most famous silk and cotton saree from south India is known for its lustrous fabric and golden color patterns. 

Mangalagiri is not only famous for sarees, but also making its way to steal the hearts of the new generation with its super cool cotton kurtas, dupattas, and stoles with the Mangala Giri weave which can be teamed up with western wear for a funky Indo-western look.and these sarees are famous for their cross colourings nearly 200 types of  cross colours are possible here

the valuation of this business is nearly 120 crore and sarees are exported to countries like America, Paris, Germani, Italy this business is giving employement to around 1,23,500 people cost benefit analysis is on an average they get 400 rupees per saree
